Yet another from my lunch-time composition study.
Took a 15 minute photo walk at lunch yesterday. Shooting square B&W to work on my composition for my Mamiya.
I have almost no idea how to use this thing.

Now THAT’S what I’m talking about.
I don’t hate Instagram. It’s a fantastic app, with a great social/sharing architecture. It’s well engineered and maintained.
What I hate is that I spend ridiculous amounts of time honing my photographic skills (such as they are) and then some 13 year old kid snaps a iPhone photo of a cheeseburger with Instagram and he looks like a better photographer.
I guess I’m just jealous.

Sometime the composition of a shot can tell the story much better than dialogue.
Always excited to get a “new” lens to play with. Today it’s the Zeiss 35mm F2.0 Distagon ZE.
